What techniques do we use?
Ultrasonic dental scaling is an innovation that has revolutionized plaque removal without harming the gums or tongue. Scaling completely removes tartar from teeth and below the gumline, eliminates bacterial deposits, and stimulates local blood circulation.
Because it is much less traumatic than traditional dental scaling, the procedure is safer, faster, and better tolerated by patients, including those with hemophilia or periodontitis.
The vibrations emitted by the device are not aggressive at all. It does not require anesthesia and is painless. It also cleans subgingival areas that are difficult to reach. It has no side effects.
Airflow is a method that uses a device to spray a jet of compressed air, water, and fine sodium bicarbonate particles directly onto the tooth surface, while also polishing away any impurities left behind after scaling and brushing. Fluoridation is the final step of the scaling procedure and is used to strengthen the tooth surface by applying fluoride.
